News from Iceland – SpecialCare2017

The Special Care 2017 conference is organized by nordic specialists that take interest in a) oral health for people with special needs and b) children with nourishing difficulties. The conference will be held in Reykjavík, August 17th – 18th 2017. Please check on the website https://www.specialcare2017.com/

This is the 23rd NFH conference (Nordic Association for Disability and Oral Health), in conjunction with the 5th Nordic conference on feeding disorder in infancy and early childhood.

The preliminary program is now ready, so please take a look on the website.

Attending the conference gives 12,5 credits for continuing education and is a great opportunity to meet with colleagues, exchange ideas and make friends.

Reykjavík is an excellent venue for the conference. It is the capital city of Iceland and the northernmost capital in the world. Along with an ambitious social programme, the participants will have the chance to explore some of the renowned natural attractions of Iceland. Please notice that on August 19th, the culture nigth in Reykjavik will be held (see http://culturenight.is/). The Reykjavik Marathon is part of that event (see http://marathon.is/reykjavik-marathon).

Early Bird registration is until May 15th 2017.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we warmly welcome you to Iceland.

Elin S. Wang and Ingólfur Einarsson, chairs of Special Care 2017
